Bu ni Mi wo Sasagete Hyaku to Yonen. Elf de Yarinaosu Musha Shugyou first update

Hi, I am not only here to give you Bu ni mi’s prologue but I want to make an announcement as well. My classes are quite tough this semester and I need to maintain a high GPA for insurance(in case i tank a higher level course). Thus, the translation will progress very slowly. This is true for Sayonara Ryuusei Konnichiwa Jinsei because each chapter is ridiculously long. As for Bu ni mi, I have yet to figure what to do at this point.

Anyway, with out further ado, please enjoy Bu ni mi’s prologue.

That’s ok Binh sama~ I understand you. I also have to maintain high GPA since I got a scholarship. Furthermore, my teachers for this semester have really good teamwork in which they combo me with more and more presentation and assignment at interval. But please don’t just just disappear althogether

I’ll be around, it just that I can’t spend too much time to translate.

I don’t know if you’re talking High School or College, but if it’s college check out ratemyprofessors.com, you can find out who the good teachers are, who the bad teachers are, and who the good teachers are there. Not all teachers are listed but it’s a great resource for avoiding the terrible teachers, also if you have to buy your books checkout slugbooks.com, they compare between 8 or so sites and I can normally buy my books for about 10 bucks instead of the full hundred that you have to pay for a new one, even if the book is a new edition you can still find it for about 60-70 bucks, if you’re high school students then just keep this in mind for when you get to college since you can avoid making the mistake of getting bad teachers or getting a teacher who is too hard.

Dont ruin your uni, trust me due to certain things i kindof gave up at around this point on my final year leaving me with a lowgrade bsc(hons) making it kindof a pointless degree. So my point being Dont give up xD just a few more steps togo

Well, do what you have to do. Quite a few people are gonna be sad but you can’t and shouldn’t sacrifice your school work for tl’ing.

Thank you so much for this.

Recently, there been a little bit of changes in the comming and goings of TPP that is relavent to translators (Basically allowing translators and librarians to go to jail at a copyright holders whim just for distributing any copyrighted work). Now you can fight the good fight with eff.org against this at https://act.eff.org/action/don-t-let-congress-fast-track-tpp; however, I think the following links below would help you more:

P.S. I am also doing this PSA because recent DDOS/DMCA attack on Jn from solitarytranslation.

    • bnguyen14 says:

Am I suppose to not TL this any more?

      • Falinmer says:

To my comprehension, they can’t just throw you in jail or anything. You can translate and use it as long as you aren’t profiting off of it, but if they ask you to stop then you need to stop. Until that time you are safe. I’m not an expert so take it with a grain of salt. With the author being in Japan, there’s almost no chance of any legal action being taken, the worst you should expect would be a cease and desist order that makes you remove your translations and not post any new ones. To my understanding they are required to give notice of some sort first so until that happens you’re safe.

      • neoshadow says:

Oh no, what this is so you is your rights for translating. So please continue translating :D

  15. Fbc says:

I don’t think you have to worry about that right now, although you may have to think about this if it gets licensed by a company like yen press
